WV Communications designs and manufactures a wide variety of custom RF assemblies. These include multi-couplers, specialized up and down converters, custom Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment , and a variety of integrated RF assemblies (sources, attenuators, mixers, etc.). The custom equipment is built to customer requirements usually in the form of an SCD. WV designs and produces custom RF assemblies even if the quantities involved are small. Capabilities in the RF area include very low noise synthesizers, high power amplifiers, low noise LNA's, and high IP3 receiving systems. WV Communications has produced RF assemblies that operate from a few MHz to over 36 GHz. Most of the custom assemblies are controlled thru a serial bus. WV Communications both manufactures the digital hardware and writes the software for the communication buses.
