The PA1138 is a low-power dual IFF amplifier for 1030 MHz, delivering +15 dBm minimum with 10 dB of gain. Like the PA1105 and PA1123, it has two channels, Sum and SLS, each with a built-in T/R switch and a limiter-protected 1090 MHz receive port, and it supports all IFF modes, including long Mode S and Mode 5.

It runs from +12 VDC at 1.25 A maximum, is convection cooled and weighs 7 lb. The PA1138 is finished in green and the PA1138-001 in warm grey; their specifications are otherwise the same.
